Where and how does my Banner Ad display?
Your ad will appear on the front page in the right hand center column on SundayAfternoonHousewife.com Ads also appear on the blog pages, about page, and stores page. It will not appear in my online shop. Each size offered shares the same real estate with other advertisers. This keeps the blog appearance fresh for visitors while giving you and others the same advertising opportunities.
Are there statistics for my banner ad?
As of right now, I am using Wordpress AdRotate to track ads. I will be able to send you monthly reports of clicks and impressions if you desire. I highly encourage you to link your site with Goggle Analytics so you may track traffic from your banner and from other sites as well.
What is a banner impression?
A banner impression is logged each time your banner ad displays on Sunday Afternoon Housewife. Ads on Sunday Afternoon Housewife average 10,000+ impressions per month.
How do I add my Banner Ad?
If you would like to purchase ad space, please email me at mellenlatta@gmail.com along with your ad of desired size. I will send you a PayPal bill and once you have paid, your ad will go into rotation within 24 hours. Your ad time (1 month, 3 months, etc) will be set at the time your ad is placed. I will notify you when your ad is set to expire and you may renew your ad as needed.
Can I change or replace a banner once I enter it into your ad space?
Yes. If you pay for 3 or more months of advertising at one time, you may change your ad as often as one time per month by emailing me a new ad of the appropriate size. Please keep in mind that each time you submit a new ad the clicks and impressions for that ad will be reset at zero.
When is the best day to start an ad?
Any day of the month is a good time to start a banner ad on Sunday Afternoon Housewife. When your ad is accepted, it will run for 30, 60, or 90 days (or more if you desire) from the date the ad goes live. Please note: Three month packages have a built-in discount of 20%.
How do I add more months to an advertisement?
Contact me via email at mellenlatta@gmail.com and we can easily increase the length of time your ad will run. This can be done at any time.
Are there any restrictions on the banners I may add?
Yes. This is a serious advertising network; therefore, we will absolutely not allow any banners that create pop-ups, pop-unders, promote porn, nudity, sexual situations, profanity, or support illegal activities, hate groups, casino links, etc. Additionally, Sunday Afternoon Housewife is a strong supporter of handmade goods and local and/or independent business, so if you are a big box store or re-seller of junk made in China, you may kindly take your ad dollars elsewhere.
Do I need a PayPal account to purchase advertising with Sunday Afternoon Housewife?
No. The PayPal site will give you the option to use your credit card for purchases without having a PayPal account. PayPal currently accepts the following credit cards: MasterCard, VISA, Discover, and American Express. You may also use a debit card from your checking account if it is either a MasterCard or Visa. All transactions are completed through PayPal's secured servers.
